How to Connect & Play

Kintara is wallet-gated: you need at least 1,000 $KINS in your Solana wallet to play. Here is the full path from zero to in-game.

  1. Install Phantom. Grab the wallet at phantom.app/download (browser extension or mobile) and create or import a wallet.
  2. Get $KINS. Acquire at least 1,000 $KINS on pump.fun and hold it in that wallet.
  3. Click “Connect Wallet” at the top of the site.
  4. Approve the connection in the Phantom pop-up. Kintara only reads your public address and $KINS balance — it never moves funds.
  5. Hit “Play Now.” Hold 1,000+ $KINS and you are in; otherwise you will see “You must have 1,000 KINS to play.”

This wallet holds 0 SOL and 0 $KINS. Do not deposit real funds — anyone reading this page can sweep it. Use it only to practise importing a private key into Phantom, then switch back to your own wallet to play.

Stay safe: Kintara will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Connecting only needs your approval in Phantom — anyone asking you to paste your own private key is trying to steal your funds.

Start Here: Your First Hour

Connect your wallet (you need at least 1,000 $KINS to play), pick a display name, and choose Server 1 or Server 2. You spawn on the Mainland with no tools — the tutorial NPC shows where to pick up your axe, pickaxe, rod, and hammer.

Click the ground to move. Drag tools to hotbar keys 1–6. There is no armor — spacing and healing matter more than cosmetics.

Tip: Heal at the plaza fountain before leaving town. Bank heavy stacks on the Mainland before any Wilderness trip.

The World at a Glance

Mainland is home base (bank, fountain, shops). Whisperwood is peaceful woods south with fishing ponds and shacks. The Pond is for fishing and cooking fish at the Roast Pit. The Wilderness and its extensions are dangerous — tombstones if you die.

Remember: Server 1 and Server 2 are separate worlds with the same account. Friends on another server will not appear next to you until you join theirs.

Gathering, Tools, and the Crafting Loop

Axes chop wood, pickaxes break stone and coal, rods fish, hammers place firepits and shacks. Stacks merge up to 999 per slot. Bank on the Mainland when you run low on space.

Combat: Spacing, Tempo, and Rewards

Melee combat only — swords and similar weapons. Learn at the armory on the Mainland, then try the Arena for PvP. Mobs can rarely drop mounts; they do not drop gold today.

Wild rule: Avoid the Wilderness until armory practice feels easy. You can lose items to tombstones on death.

Quests, Dailies, and Long Arcs

Follow the tutorial, then check daily quests for chop X wood, mine X stone, catch X fish, and kill X mobs. Rewards include gold, XP, and sometimes badges.

Efficiency: Batch similar tasks — one fishing trip can cover a cook quest and a daily catch goal.

Wilderness, Risk, and Tombstones

The Wilderness has a safe camp in the south. Outside it: mobs, PvP, and death bags. Go north for Wilderness North (cave gate needs combat level) or east for Wilderness East.

Life Skills: Fishing and Cooking

Fish in Whisperwood ponds or The Pond. Cook raw fish at the Roast Pit on The Pond for cooking XP. Firepits you build are for healing, not cooking fish.

Economy, $KINS, and Trading

Gold buys most items. Open the Marketplace from the HUD cart button anywhere. List items for gold, or list gold for $KINS — when someone buys with $KINS, the seller gets 95% and 5% goes to the game treasury. You need at least 1,000 $KINS in your wallet to play.

On the Mainland near the casino, the spinner wheel gives one free spin every 12 hours (average skill level 5 required). Extra paid spins cost $3 USD worth of $KINS — half burned, half to treasury — and do not reset your free timer.

Remember: Never paste your seed phrase into random popups. The game only needs a normal wallet sign-in unless you start a purchase you chose yourself.
